ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THE EDUCATION METHOD TO BE APPLIED IN OUR UNIVERSITY AFTER APRIL 24, 2023

At the meeting held by our University Senate on April 06, 2023;

* With the decision of our University Senate dated 20.02.2023 and numbered 522/1, the practical trainings that are being conducted face-to-face will continue face-to-face after April 24, 2023, and the end-of-semester make-up and single course exams of these courses will be conducted face-to-face,

* As a result of the re-evaluation of the decision of our University Senate dated 31.03.2023 and numbered 532/1, and in all academic units, except for those mentioned in the above article, theoretical and practical courses will be conducted face-to-face in classrooms without the requirement of attendance for students who wish, along with the distance education method from April 24, 2023, and the end-of-semester, make-up, and single course exams of these courses will be conducted online according to the exam method that the instructor will determine and announce in advance (multiple choice, true/false, written, assignment, project, etc.),

* The restriction that at most 30% of the courses in a semester can be delivered via distance education according to the ECTS credits, as stated in the 6th article of the "Procedures and Principles Regarding Distance Education in Higher Education Institutions" in force, will not be applied,

* Exams such as thesis monitoring and proficiency exams will be conducted according to the exam method that will be determined and announced in advance by the relevant boards,

* Students who continue their education as Special Students at another higher education institution will continue their education in the same way,

* All academic units will complete their preparations according to the Hybrid education model, which will be implemented on April 24, 2023,

it has been decided.
